We facilitate excess food redistribution from our warehouses to local food banks and community organizations, helping provide more than 1 million meals per year to those who need them. We also encourage our employees to get involved by offering paid volunteer hours, empowering them to actively address challenges related to food waste and insecurity in their communities.
We target LEED Silver certification for all new developments, utilizing advanced energy efficiency measures such as state-of-the-art refrigeration control systems, VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), LED lighting, and high-speed doors. We also emphasize conservation through reduced water usage, responsible sourcing, and onsite recycling programs.
